Walnut is a striking, upstanding, delightful goofball of a dog who turns heads everywhere he goes. He was primarily owner handled and groomed during his quick trip to his AKC CH and GCH. He was singled out with a major at 10 months, and was 2nd in a large and competitive 12-18 class at PCA in 2024, despite only having one trip into the ring in the prior 7 months.
After PCA I took him out as a special, and his first weekend resulted in 3 5 point major BOV's, 3 regular group placements, 3 owner handled group placements including 2 wins, and an OH Reserve Best in Show. Two more show weekends finished not only his Grand Championship, but his National Owner Handled Series Silver level of achievement with only 10 total trips into the OH group ring, helped by a streak of 5 OH Group 1st's, 4 of which resulted in Owner Handled Best in Show or Reserve Best in Shows.
He is now cut down to an MCC, and will be out showing periodically in that trim while also working on adding to his sporting title collection.
He is fully health tested, and available at stud to select Standard Poodle bitches.
